Unboxing the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 with Ubuntu Linux

My tax refund gift to myself just arrived in the form of a Dell Inspiron Mini 9. I haven’t touched Linux with the exception of ESX Server since the days of Redhat and Suse in the late 1990s… so the OS is a bit of a shock to me at first. Like how in the hell do I see the basic system information, such as right-clicking my Computer and hitting Properties in Windows? I have a feeling I am going to be doing a lot of Googling. Here are some shots from the unboxing along with some size comparisons.

The box… sexy brown.
